Guidelines for State Art and Academic Meet

1. A student may enter three academic contests

2. Schools must plan their entries carefully. The schedule CANNOT and WILL NOT be changed to accomodate a student wanting to enter two or more events in the same time block. * exception* (unless the event does not require the students presence i.e., photography entries, or art entries)

3. All students (grades 7-12) are eligible to participate in the TCAL Art & Academic Meet.

4. First through third places will be awarded in each contest

5. School standings will be based on the number of points accumulated for each contest place based on the following point values:

1st: 10 points

2nd- 8 points

3rd- 6 points
